Donald Trump And The Shadow State

Theodore Roosevelt once said that behind the official government an unvisible one is pulling the strings. We now use the term „deep state“ which comes from the Turkish system where shadow governments have a long tradition. The failed coup against Prime Minister Erdogan in July showed what „deep state“ can be capable of – in this case also a vital sign from „Gladio B„, the new name under which NATO’s secret armies continue to exist as FBI-whistleblower Sibel Edmonds puts it.

Whether the Trump Presidency will really make important changes depends on its capability of handling the „deep state“. „America’s next president will inherit more than a bitterly divided nation teetering on the brink of financial catastrophe when he or she assumes office. He will also inherit a shadow government, one that is fully operational and staffed by unelected officials who are, in essence, running the country“, wrote John W. Whitehead, Autor of Battlefield America: The War on the American People.

He explained: „The first shadow government, referred to as COG or continuity of government, is made up of unelected individuals who have been appointed to run the government in the event of a ‚catastrophe.‘  The second shadow government, referred to as the Deep State, is comprised of unelected government bureaucrats, corporations, contractors, paper-pushers, and button-pushers who are actually calling the shots behind the scenes right now.“ A historical example for COC or shadow government is Operation Valkyrie, a conspiracy against Adolf Hitler where an existing COC plan was used to covertly plan Hitlers assassination and the takeover of Germany.

Whitehead described the first shadow government as „a phantom menace waiting for the right circumstances—a terrorist attack, a natural disaster, an economic meltdown—to bring it out of the shadows, where it operates even now. When and if COG takes over, the police state will transition to martial law.“ It seems quite plausible that actors in a secret behind the scenes structure could be gained for another plan wihout even noticing it so first and second shadow government may have some persons in common.

As the deep state (the second shadow government) doesn’t aim at functioning in emergency situations but at governing the country instead of the government it should be no surprise that it controls Wall Street and Silicon Valley. The deep state needs silence and is kept alive by a constant flow of money aside from Congressional work, as Whitehead pointed out: „This permanent, corporatized, militarized, entrenched bureaucracy is unaffected by elections, unaltered by populist movements, and beyond the reach of the law. This is the hidden face of the police state.“

Or say it with Roosevelt: “Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government, owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people.“ It took time to develope wide ranging shadow structures, said Whitehead, and are still „so shrouded in secrecy, well hidden from the eyes and ears of the American people, that they exist and function in contravention to the principles of democratic government“. The first shadow government was created to continue government in case of nuclear war: „COG initially called for three teams consisting of a cabinet member, an executive chief of staff and military and intelligence officials to practice evacuating and directing a counter nuclear strike against the Soviet Union from a variety of high-tech, mobile command vehicles. If the president and vice president were both killed, one of these teams would take control, with the ranking cabinet official serving as president.“

As a consequence of 9/11 the COG structures were transferred into a „full-time, permanent shadow government, stationed outside the capital, run by permanently appointed (not elected) executive officials. COG has since taken on a power—and a budget—of its own“. And that was not enough: „Incredibly, under the Obama administration, the plans for the shadow government have expanded and grown far more elaborate and costly than many realize. It is what investigative journalist William M. Arkin refers to as ‚the latest manifestation of an obsession with government survival.'“ COG is not so much about continuity of government as about an elite protecting itself, quoting again Arkin: “Countless billions have been spent on this endeavor over the years, a secret orgy of preparedness going on behind the scenes, one that ensures Washington can defend itself, take care of its own, and survive no matter what.“

The parallel structure also built vast bunker complexes and is occupied with every aspect of life in days of war or other catastrophies. For the ordinary people there are detention camps as millions of names are on a black list and martial law can be activated in case of a terrorist attack. Whitehead referred to former Congressional staff worker Mike Lofgren: This ’state within a state‘ hides ‚mostly in plain sight, and its operators mainly act in the light of day,‘ says Lofgren, and yet the ‚Deep State does not consist of the entire government.'“ Lofren explained: „It is a hybrid of national security and law enforcement agencies: the Department of Defense, the Department of State, the Department of Homeland Security, the Central Intelligence Agency and the Justice Department. I also include the Department of the Treasury because of its jurisdiction over financial flows, its enforcement of international sanctions and its organic symbiosis with Wall Street.

All these agencies are coordinated by the Executive Office of the President via the National Security Council. Certain key areas of the judiciary belong to the Deep State, such as the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, whose actions are mysterious even to most members of Congress. Also included are a handful of vital federal trial courts, such as the Eastern District of Virginia and the Southern District of Manhattan, where sensitive proceedings in national security cases are conducted. The final government component (and possibly last in precedence among the formal branches of government established by the Constitution) is a kind of rump Congress consisting of the congressional leadership and some (but not all) of the members of the defense and intelligence committees. The rest of Congress, normally so fractious and partisan, is mostly only intermittently aware of the Deep State and when required usually submits to a few well-chosen words from the State’s emissaries.“

Under the headline “Top Secret America” the „Washington Post“ spoke about 854,000 contract personnel with top-secret clearances and even more top-secret-cleared civilian employees of the government. Such a huge secret apparatus can of course be hijacked for deep state-purposes and this could explain why known „transatlanticists“ in Europe suddenly seemed so „anti-American“ when Trump was elected. But to be correct there was extreme bias during the election campaign before as the MSM in Europe were pro-Clinton and as a result in polls only few people thought Trump could win. The new „anti-Americans“ are characteristically silent on the drone war, mass surveillance, regime changes, the coup in Ukraine, the overthrow of Gaddafi and the so-called civil war in Syria (and of course the Arab Springs real nature).

Nowadays you see for example the Vice-Chair of the German Bundestag Claudia Roth (Green Party which is an intelligence front) going wild over the „sexist“ Donald Trump. Some weeks ago she wanted him to resign while Foreign Secretary Frank Walter Steinmeier (the next German President, SPD) called him a „hate preacher“ and said he was scared at the prospect of a Trump Presidency. The President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz (SPD and next German Foreign Secretary) said Trump is „a problem for the world„. During the last EU election campaign in 2014 (by the way with massive interference of George Soros) Schulz was top candidate of the European Social Democrats and very upset when I asked him about secret U.S. influence.

The campaign manager in Austria Norbert Darabos was under pressure and surveillance and sealed off since he was Defense Secretary but for Schulz „this is all not true“ even before I could say more, and he turned away as if I accused him being a CIA asset. Both experiences, Schulz‘ behaviour and Darabos‘ being framed as he just is pro-sovereignty and anti-globalist clearly points at deep state structures undermining Europe. If there were no shadow structures and U.S. intelligence and transatlantic networks and think tanks function as we would expect, German politicians would congratulate Mr. Trump instead of continuing to attack him, and the same is true for the MSM.

„Stronger Together“ in Austria and in the U.S.

It was noticed in the U.S. public as the alternative media were important news sources for many people but it is still not known in Europe that men and women in the U.S. military and intelligence apparatus cooperated with Wikileaks to prevent a Clinton Presidency. This would have meant practically a Saudi Presidency through Clintons „right hand“ Huma Abedin as Hillary suffers from Parkinsons‘ Disease. What these people called a „coup“ that would also lead to war with Russia was retailiated with a „counter coup“ of parts of the intelligence commmunity. These persons now want President-elect Donald Trump to stop false flag operations as the CIA should no longer serve as an instrument of war.

We see deep state and „anti-U.S.-CIA“ in various forms when we keep our eyes open. The reason why staged protests against Trump seem so familiar to us is because these crowds are like those demanding „no border – no nation“ in European cities. Ironically these folks claim to be very aware and want to „educate“ people they label as racist et cetera but in a leaked Clinton campaign email we read what it’s all about: “The unawareness remains strong but compliance is obviously fading rapidly. This problem demands some serious, serious thinking – and not just poll driven, demographically-inspired messaging.” In other words the campaign (like campaigns targeting citizenship and promoting illegal mass immigration) doesn’t want to rise awareness but to create unawareness.

The picture above shows two campaigns with the same slogan, the same colors and the same target: „stronger together“ stands for „an European state“ (Austrian candidate Alexander Van der Bellen), for a „North American Union“ (Clinton), for mass immigration and so-called political correctness. While HRC is known as a warmongerer, Van der Bellen, wo was longtime on top of the Austrian Greens (an U.S. intelligence front) in his own words never critized NATO (and he was for every military intervention). Like Clinton fights not for more wars but against discrimination, sexism, racism and to hit the glass ceiling Van der Bellen is promoted as a candidate for peace and „open mindedness“. As lots of „celebs“ gathered around Clinton, actors, singers, film-makers, autors et cetera support Van der Bellen, and so do the MSM and the political establishment. Norbert Hofer from the Freedom Party who wants to invite Trump and Putin to talk in Vienna is framed a as a „right wing populist“ though he is for sovereignty and wants to represent the nation state.

At the beginning reactions at campusses, German politics

The deep state directs the MSM, the Green Party,  most parts of the Social Democrats (especially youth organizations), parts of the Conservatives, the Liberals (NEOS), large parts of the administration, the courts, most of the intelligence and the „civil society“ dedicated to the Soros‘ aim of abandoning state borders. As a state is defined through territory (with borders), citizens and state power people must be brainwashed if they are against borders and for letting everybody in and being housed and nursed by the welfare state. It is no surprise the „Soros youth“ in the U.S. never rallied against wars as their counterparts in Europe are only vaguely somehow for peace – both like to carry the rainbow flag which is hijacked now but once was a powerful symbol of millions marching against the Iraq war in 2003.

One of the illustrations shows the Head of the Social Democrats in Austrian Parliament Andreas Schieder as an engaged Hillary supporter. His father Peter had an important function in the socialist youth international (IUSY) when its CIA funding was revealed. The son also started his career in IUSY like many other Social Democrats not only in Austria. Andreas Schieders foreign policy positions always were in line with what I call now the „anti-Trump CIA“ (the agency in Austria is traditionally Democratic), f.e. concerning sanctions against Russia. And for him it was okay that the Social Democratic Defense Secretary and then Member of Parliament Darabos was (is) under pressure. Nothing in Austria made the existence of the deep state more clear that the chain of command in the military and the right to give orders in the defense ministry were undermined and nobody was willing to react (nor to protect Darabos and then me as a real journalist uncovering it).

Now Mr. Schieder calls Trump offensive against black people and latinos and critizes „totally incorrect“ statements on women, points at „dark spots“ in Trumps biography without going into details and speaks of „dubios deals“. Schieders chief in the Social Democrats Chancellor Christian Kern was visited by Alexander Soros in summer (and refused to comment on it) and Kerns wife has close ties to the deep state through Silicon Valley where she is engaged. The former EU diplomat Wolfgang Petritsch (Social Democrat) said at a debate in Summer that parties like the Democrats and the Republicans get eroded as well as Conservatives and Social Democrats will do; he is advocating unlimited immigration and supporting Van der Bellen. The new development in the Democratic Party towards a war agenda seems to underline it with Chuck Schumer as „the worst possible leader at the worst possible time“.

Now President Obama is on a reassurance tour through Europe which means the old Bush-Clinton-Obama course. He started in Greece where he told the political leadership (as George Ades in Cyprus pointed out) „how pleased he is with the progress that Greece has made with the heartless austerity measures imposed on its people by the IMF and our European ‚partners‘. Let’s take a look at what Obama is ‚pleased‘ with: Unemployment up to 30%, more among the young. Companies going bankrupt one after the other putting thousands of people out of work. Salaries and pensions reduced to levels of starvation. Suicides increasing exponentially. Emigration of our best and brightest in the hundreds of thousands (brain drain). Homes repossessed by banks. Children going to school hungry and fainting on their desks. Hospitals lacking basic medical supplies and experiencing shortages of staff that they cannot fill as that would increase the national budget. (Not approved by the IMF).“

The deep state MSM slams Trump for being not so enthusiastic about the EU and talking to Brexiteers and scepticists. But EU means for the people not only in Greece poverty and unimployment as the „rust belt“ in the U.S. experiecend losses after the breakdown of the financial market. Obamas party now gets a new leader who is against a new Glass-Steagall-Act which would protect bank costumers‘ money (and Trump has promised changes). But it is also a matter of perspective as Wikileaks revealed the important role of CItigroup in staffing his first term. The picture above mocks Clintons mantra of Russians hacking everywhere as she tried to use Article 5 of NATO treaty to respond to alleged cyber attacks. Julian Assange said Russia was not the source of informations, and Steve Pieczenik exposed what really happened.

On November 17 Obama will travel to Germany to „the leader of the free world“ as MSM call Chancellor Angela Merkel (also known as „the last liberal“) and surely will meet also the „anti-Trump“ Foreign Secretary Steinmeier. The President has „to soothe fears over Trumps stance on NATO“ and on the TTIP writes (what an irony) „Russia Today„. Everything has been twisted around within days: the President-elected finds Article 5 outdated while warmongerer Clinton was eager to activate it against Russia. Those always dominated by the U.S. via NATO now are longing for Obamas „comfort“ that dominance which is not Trumps world view will continue. And mind that nobody out there in the political „elite“ ever was against the drone wars or canceled the agreement with the U.S. on the base Ramstein in Germany which is relais station for targeted kilings. In other words: we see the deep state shining through Obama, Merkel, Bildzeitung, Der Spiegel, Schulz and many others. And in Germany a bombshell for citizens  is the attempt to change the constitution in order to give immigrants advantages over born Germans just as Soros wants.
